CDP Your NEIGHBORS TIP

Hi world, this is my first post.

and just to get started , here is the first tip.

How do you find out what devices next to each other on a Cisco network?

show cdp neighbors


That's rights, that is it and it should give you a response like this

R1#show CDP neighbors
Capability Codes: R - Router, T - Trans Bridge, B - Source Route Bridge
                  S - Switch, H - Host, I - IGMP, r - Repeater

Device ID        Local Intrfce     Holdtme    Capability  Platform  Port ID
